WORK OF COMING SESSION

(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 13. Mr Massey states, that the Government is determined to pass next session the Legislative Council Reform Bill embodying an elective Upper Chamber and a Bill dealing with the method of election of members of the House of Representatives will be introduced, also a Local Government Bill, inaugurating an improved system of allocating grants for public works. A Land Bill of same kind may be looked for to remedy defects in the existing laws, and making provision for the adjustment of complicated conditions' affecting settlement on he West Coast of the South Island
