PANIC STRICKEN.
BOMBAY COTTON FIRES AND INSURANCE COMPANIES.

BOMBAY, April 8
Cotton fires are causing a panic among the insurance companies. The damages done in four outbreaks totals £147,000. It is estimated that 100,000 bales of cotton [have been destroyed. No trace of the* incendiaries has t»een discovered.
