KING'S THEATRE
A capital programme was shown at tit* King's Theatre last evening, at which there was a fairly large attendance. Ona of the management's Independent films,. "Kidnapped," must be given the palni| for "it certainly is an attractively-pro-i -duced film. The story is of the sensa* . 'tional order, but as it as already knotfil t~there-is no necessity to repeat it. Sui-* ifice to say that the picture is a real good one. In support are many otheir ~ime films, chi -i of which is v what i* aptly termed &, gorgeous production, "InL the Land of the Cactus." Then there is another fine subject, this being "In thS Power of the Blacklegs," a story of mod-* ' crn times. There are many other sub> jects worthy of a nlace on any pro* gramme. The whoie series will be re-* peated this evening.
