-A challenge race in the Wanganui sihed .as to which crew should represent the shed in this event, was.decided last evening, and'resulted in a great race, in •which the challenge crew won by a canvas from the selected team. The race was decided over a course from tJiH brewery to Hat rick's wharf, AraTtioho. Both crews got well off the mark, Banks (inside) having a very slight lead, which lie increased to a canvas' length. Marshall gradually closed up near the new bridge.
