{United Press Association —Copyright.; HALIFAX, Mar. 20. Thrilling scenes of heroism marked the wreck of the steamer City of Sydney off Tjambro, Nova Scotia. While salvaging the cargo a. ht, vy sea capsized a dory, and Captain Burns and a seaman were thrown into the water. Another dory the shape of another dory, and rescued three men were then struggling in the ■whirling water. Assistance arrived in ■fihe shap of another dory, and rescued the third man, but as they were dragging in Burns seas tore the dories asunder, and Burns sank. An excited crowd watched from the seashore, fearing that both rescuers and rescued would be overpowered by the heavy sea running.
