LEVEL GROSSING ACCIDENT.

(Per Press Association.) THAMES, March 9. A level crossing accident occurred at Kopu this morning. A farmer named 'McLoughlan and his son were proceeding to a factory, and when crossing tho railway line a train came along. McLoughlan seized his son and jumped as the train dashed into the cart, which was smashed to splinters. The horse was uninjured. The boy has been taken to the Hospital, suffering from cute and bruises and a compound fracture of the lef. His escape from death was due to his father' 6 prompt action.
