The "Chronicle's" Qiieen of the Carnival Voting Competition is simplicity itself.

The prize is well Avorth winning. All you have to do is to mark the coupon (see advertisement) in. the order in which you think the seven successful candidates will be placed. Write the figure 1 opposite the name of the lady you think will be at the head of the poll the figure 2 opposite the name of the lady you think will be placed second, and so on till you have numbered seven of the candidates.

You may send as many lists as you like, but each list must be made <ut on a "Chronicle" coupon and must be accompanied by a penny (coin or stamp). You can put your list in any of the Carnival baHoi boxes, or you can send it direct to «the "Chronicle" office.

All entries must be put in not later than 6 p.m. on Wednesday (to-morrow). The prize is a six guinea tailor mad© suit or costume, as the winner may desire. Be sure and read the conditions as set out in the advertisement on page 3.
