THE GONVILLE CLUB
On Saturday two rinks from St. John's Club visited Gonyjlle and played a match with a couple of rinks from that club. The visitors proved too strong, winning in the aggregate by 4d to 31. ill A ferns match -was also played, the challengers being rather easily beaten, while a couple of club rink games were also decided. In the games between the St. John s and Gonville rinks, the scores were as under, the St. John's teams'being mentioned first: — . Paterson, lAnderson, Armstrong, Laughton (sk.)\ 15, v. Ryan, Gilberd, Rice, Cresswell (sk.), 19. . . Stephenson Olson, Hewitson, Christie (sk.), 28. v.Moston, Munro, McAneny, Bourne (sk.), 13. The ferns match scores were: —llida, Allsopp, Williams. Ogilvie (sk.), 27, v. Nicholls, W. R. Morgan. Nixon, Copeland (sk.), 15. The other games played resulted :— Hooper W. E. Morgan Wilson, Hig 7 gie (sk.), 23,. v. McCune. iParnell, McKinnon, Martin, (sk.), 12. Corby Mayes, J. H. Bowater, Scott (sk ) 24' v. C. Bowater, Deem, Sexton, Flower,22.
