•Catholic members of Parliament are trying to farm a great Catholic party. They sought Papal approbation. . The Vatican replied that it would only look favourably on fhe movement if it commended itself to the whole of the French episcopate,. The bishops are disposed to view the innovation hostilely us being dangerous to the welfare of the Church.
