INSTANTANEOUS SUCCESS OF THE 4-H.P. -TRIUMPH AT CHROSTCHUHCH. The first shipment of the new 1914 model Triumph motor cycle, 4.-h.p. 3speed machines arrived in Christchtirch on Thursday last, and by 1 p.m. on Saturday all had been sold, and orders still , flocking jn. We had been led to expect something of especial merit in the 1914 model, but the reality lias surpassed b*oth our own expectations and those of our clients. The running of tn© 1914 4-h.p. is a perfect revelation even to those who had experience of the flexibil* ity and ready response to control of the 2% 1913 3-speed Triumph. The increase in engine power provides a' very big reserve of power for the side-car user, and as excellent as the 3£-li.p.. Triumph, was as a side-car machine, the 4-h.p1. is Btill better. Aa a solo machine it retains ail the virtues of the lower poweredl models and embodies several improvements, while it is also capable of speed. Of Triumph quality in general we need say nothing. It has-proved in open competition in New Zealand on scores of occasions the latest of wihich was the winning of" the North Island Fifteen Mile Champion Race, conducted under the auspices of the Manawiatu Motor Cyclist's Club on Jan. 22. 1914. The second shipment is now to hand and we can give immediate delivery of the 4-h.p. 1914 Triumph fitted with the celebrated Sturmey-Archer three-speed* gear. ADAMS LTD., Agent?, TVANGAINtJI.
