MR. W. REDMOND AT AUCKLAND.
(Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, February 13. Mr W. A. Redmond, M.P., the Irish Nationalist member, and Mrs Redmond, arrived by the Marama from Sydney on route, to "London via Vancouver. Mr. Redmond was welcomed on. landing by a large gathering of admirers. and accorded an enthusiastic greeting. On airrival at the Albert Hotel the distinguished visitor's health was drunk. Mr. Redmond, in returning thanks. 6aid that lapart altogether from the Home Rule issue, UJstermen as a body, Pioand Catholic, were solid in their ideal of national self-government, and nothing was more certain than that it would be settled on a satisfactory basis.
