When helost money he became addicted to drink, started borrowing and then stealing. CHRISTCHURCH, February 13. Lionel Walter AVoreen .aged 18 years, an ex-Burnham boy, was committed for sentence on ia charge of making si false declaration to the Registrar of Marriages at Oust in stating that his age was 28 and ihis name John, Joseph Bell. The offence was committed on August 29, and the marriage performed the following day. Doreen was discharged from Burnhani'after tho marriage.
