Wallingford, who was bred in Wanganui by Mr G. M. Currie, and who was sold by that breeder last year in Sydney for 100 guineas privately, carried out his bat at the Victoria (N.S.W.) Park Pony Meeting last month, the New Zealander starting in a couple of events and coming out on top iv each contest. Wallingford is n son cf Harrow ( ahalf-brother by Eton to Bronze) and Mervcllieux, the* latter mare being the clam of Aotea, Mcrrigee and Lerida, all winners in the Dominion.
