HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.
"LES MISERABLES."
MATINEE THIS AFTERNOON
The great pictorial dramatisation of Victor Hugo's immortal work was again screened at His Majesty's last evening, and 'was followed with rapt attention by the audience, which filled the theatre Thero is no doubt the picture has captured popular approval. And well \t might, as it :s in'every way a splendid production. The life story of Jean Valjean is inexpressibly sad, but it is so intensely human, that one feels one simply must follow the story to the end. The film is particularly long, being over 8000 feet, and jit is a fine specimen of photography, while the acting and setting are of a very high order. "Lea Miserables" will be shown this afternoon and again in the evening, which will be its final screening. It is expected that largo audiences will take advantage of this the last opportunity of becoming acquainted with the greatest work of the great Victor Hugo.
