MR LLOYD GEORGE ATTACKED,
(United Press Association.—Copyright A ODOKDON; DcV 11. Mr Markliam, a member of the House of Commons, in a speech hotly disapproved] of the Government's land policy. He declared that the Right Hon. Lloyd George took extreme cases as the averago in depicting tyrannical landlords. He accused the Chancellor of deliberately torpedoing the Conciliation Bill on the ground that the extension of the franchise to •women would be against the voting interests of Liberals.
