LONDON WOOL SALES.

Dalgety and Company, Limited, Wellington, have received " the following cablegram from their London office under_ date of Friday, the 3rd inst.: — "Wool sales continue firm and active with brisk competition. As compared with last sales' closing rates -;;soured merinos are par to 5 per cent, higher. Shped wools are unchanged, partly owing to American competition. Fine and medium greasy crcssbreds are 2£ per cent, to 5 per cent, higher, and coarse crossbreds 5 per cent, higher."
