The British Committee is appealing for £60,000 to carry on the British programme for celebrating the hundredth anniversary of Anglo-American peace. The programme includes the erection of a memorial in Westminster Abbey, the purchase of the ancestral home of Washington, and the foundation of a chaif of Anglo-American history to be held in succession by eminent British and American historian;?.
