A sealingM coat of tar will be applied at the pro-B per time. Victoria Avenue was tawed and sand-H ed between Glasgow and London Streets.™ The tram track has been extensively™ patched with tarred metal in the Ave-M nue and in Guyton St. The footpath on Taupo Quay from™ Wicksteed Place to the boatsheds ,haSH been asphalted 17ft in width1 and fiye^B tar-macadam crossings laid down. Opera House and office: A oontrac'^H has been completed for the-additiona^H dressing rooms, etc., authorised; ano^H another contract for a mew foreman'sH office is well in hand. H General: Street mame-boards hiaveM been erected in Wanganui East, andH speed notices at the principal cornoraM in town, and also at the borough boutt-B daries. H Peat's Park has been levelled ancH sown and ia fence erected on the BeltH Iload frontage. ■
