ANNUAL TOURNAMENT

The annual tournament was continued I in splendid weather on Saturday, the events including two rounds of the championship besides an IS-holo niatr-h ngainst bogey in the morning and an 18-hole medal match in tho afternoon. The bogey was won by F. C Fryer, who with a handicap of 5 w.ns 3 no on the Colonel. T)r Gregg 02) was I lip aiul H. E. Good (hnndierm 10) and 11. W. Kelly (1-1) lied for third phve n .\] square. Seifert beat A. Barraml 3 and 2, AY. S. Ralph beat IT. G. Stringer 2 up, J. Harold beat Kiirnno Tareha. 2 and 1, T. Saundcrs beat D. McCormick 2 and L, Kapi Tareha boat «T. F. Ritchie 1 up, A. D. S. Duncan beat H. O. Cock 3 and 2, W. A. O'Callnghan beat G. Saunclers o and 5. A. H. Lewis beat A. G. Hodges 8 and 7. Second Bound: Ralph beat L. Soifert 1 up, Harold boat I. Saundors 4 and 3, Duncan beat Kapi Tareha 2 up and Lewis beat O'Callaghan 6 and 4. The approaching competition for a prize presented by Mr H. D. Bates was won after a play-off with J. Cameron and G. AY. Harden, by D. Coghill. The putting competitions were again won by Mrs H. A. Lomax and R. D. Wybourne. This morning the semi-final of the championship will be played; Ralph plays Harold, and Lewis plays Duncan. An 18-hole bogey match will be plflyed in the morning and this afternoon the final of the championship and an iB-hole foursome against bogey.
