Several members advocated the necessity for more outdoor employment for mental hospital patients. Discussion on these lines continued till five-thirty, when the House adjourned till 7-30. The House resumed at 7-3 U. Mr. Hanan contended that papula* lectures should be delivered on the detriment of the over-indulgence in tobacco, sph-ituous liquor, and riotous living.

Mr. Wilford said he could congratulate Dr. Beatty on the accommodation provided at Avondale for pigs, but was sorry he could not congratulate him on the accommodation for patients.
