The "Newark Star," Orange. U.S.A., of August 6, says:—"Ambrose 11. Harris, assistant chief of research laboratory, Edison Storage Battery Company, member of the American Electric Railway Association, associate of American Electrical Engineers, associate of Electric Vehicle Association, will sail on the Baltic to-morrow for New Zealand, where he will develop the Edison' storage battery, more particularly in the traction and electric vehicle field. Ihe "Newark News" of same date says:— "Ambrose Reeve Harris, assistant chief of research of the Edison laboratory, will sail Saturday, by way of England and South Africa, for New Zealand, for the purpose of developing the Edism. storage battery in Australasia. # -Mr. A R. Harris, who is a Wancanm boy, the son of Mr. A. Hams (of Messrs Horsley and Harris) is at present m the Mother Country.
