Trie Hon. James Allen (Minister for Finance), who has suffered severely from tiie efßacits of vw^cavnatjion. has 'been confined to his bed during the last day or two, and he has not yet been in tho House this week. He may be able to attend'for a time-to-morrow. It is possible that Mr Allen's indisposition will delay tho appearance of the Financial Statement for a short period.
