IRISH LAND PURCHASE BILL. (Uniced Press Association.^-Copyright. Received 11-15 p.m., July 22. LONDON, July 22. In the House of .Commons, the Hon. Birred introduced the Irish Land Purchase Bill. He said the total expenditure was at present over a hundred millions, and it was estimated that a further sixty millions would be required, to be provided for by half cash, half stock. He? hoped the purchase would be completed in ten or fifteen years. An additional million was needed for labourers' cottages.
