The Dunedin Coursing Club intended holding a coursing meeting at the end of this" week, but as heavy <rain has made the condition of Plumpton very bad and as the club considers that there 5s a i>ossibHitv of prosecution by the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals if the meeting is held under favourable conditions, postponement has been decided on. Large entries hav e been received, and dogs .are- expected fro;n thr North Islan'l and Southland.
