The north-west gale which raged on Saturday and Sunday considerably delayed shipping. l The Mokoia and Rosamond worked tinder difficulties on Saturday morning, but got away to time in the afternoon. Loading operations on the Otaki were also considerably interfered with. Coastal steamers were also delayed by the gale and arrived somewhat later than ordinary time.
