ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL. St. John's 8, Araraoho 2. Eastbrook 3, Wanganui 2. Tiio ground was very heavy, and altogether against jrood football on Saturday. No. 2 ground especially being a veritable quagmire, more particularly the far-away goal area. Aramoho kicked off. but the Saints' forward soon took command, and Coxwas early called upon to save from Cameron. Keening up the pressure. D.nvms and Cameron by nioo passing again transferred the play, and a good pass to Green was converted by that pLayer. The Aramoho boys could not pierce the fine defence of St. John's, and the enabled Cameron to score on two occasions, Davies' play being mainly responsible. Minnell next had a run, and passed to Green, who r>hot over. Aramoho for a time were aggressive, but the defence was too solid. Davies now had a great run, badly beating the opposition and scoring a lovely goal. .4- —0. On resuming, Cox was called on to save, which he did, cleverly- on several occasions. Off-side play robbed St. John's of good chances to score. Game-
