WRI'ITEN tenders will bo received up to NOON OF SATURDAY, 31st MAY, -1918, for the purchase of the following empties now on hand and accumulated! by the Railway Department, up to 31st March, 1914: — 1. Oil "casks, 40 gallon Oil casks, (mineral colza) 40 gallon 2. Drams Ist class 5 gallon Drums 2nd class 5 gallon The casks and drums to 'be classified by the Railway Department-and mutually agreed upon. Separate tenders to be sent in for the empties accumulated on the AUCKLAND DISTRICT RAILWAYS and on tho WELLJN GTON - N APIER - NEW PLYMOUTH RAILWAYS. Tenderers to state prices per each and to indicate the Railway Station or Railway Wharf at which delivery is required. Tho Casks (1) and Drums (2) may be separately tendered for. Further particulars can be obtained from, the Railway Storekeepers, Newmarket and Petone\ or from th© Comptroller of Stores. New Zealand Railways, Wellington.
