LYCEUM THEATRE.
Another excellent series was screened at the Lyceum last night to a goodsized audience. Scenic, comedy dramatic, topical "and eduactioiml picturc-c wore shown and were well .received. A delightful presentation, was that, showing the fountains of Rome in winch the scenes depicted are si'mplv beautiful and' beyond compare A topical picture was that depicting the arrival at Wellington of our Dreadw's a' Ttetsvperh fighting machine. ISew Zealand ploughing for the first time furrows into Port Nicholson, rhe^besieged waterfront, the fleet oi cratt of all sorts and sizes which follow in her wake, the great disolay of Iranians from masthead, halyard etc ■^"4 I ±h J e, sp»i-ts at Ncwtown Park iii TvTnch .the jolly Jack Tars take a prominent part, in the aggregate makes a presentation which makes a strong anpoal to one's patriotism. From the synopsis it will be seen that this is a different picture to that screened at the Opera House last week.
