GRAFT.
SUSPECTED POLICE INFORMER SHOT DEAD.
Jerry Maida, suspected of aiding the Attorney-General in the investigation of policd graft, was shot dead m the street. Five gangsters have been arrested in connection with the murder. Four police officers accused of graft have been placed on trial at the Su-p----vome Courts Charges covering a pet^ iod of four'years havo been preterred sigainst them. Investigation is proceeding ia other cases.
