The bal-ance-sheet for tho year ending 31st March, 1913, showed a credit balance of £5 12s lOd. This v, as considered very (satisfactory. , When the late committee took office there was a debit balance of ISs 9d 3 and as the revenue derived from those institution^ is comparative meagre, the retiring eoirmr - tur* had indeed administered the aff.air» J of tho school creditably.
At tho conclusion of the election £if tho committee, Mr. W. Cairrl spoke al some length of the los^ the district would suffer in 10-sinu Me F. C. Campbell as head-teacher, and eulogised the cood work ho had done during his 4j years' connection with school .work. Mr Campbell hr.d always been in evidence in promoting tho welfare of the district.
