RANGITIKEI-OROUA NOTES.
MAKTON BOWLING CLUB
The Marton Bowling Club concluded J.eir season on Wednesday afternoon, when a three rink match was played with a Hunterville team, the result being: Marton 84-, Hunterville 46, Marton thus winning on the aggregate by 38 points. Afternoon tea was dispensed by M-Dschimes Mogridge, Robinson, -and Miss Mogridge. During: the interval the vice-president, Mr Mogridge, took tho opportunity ct presenting two handsome gold medals donated by Mr Harry Suteliffc, and won by Mr George Cummins, runner-up for two consecutive years to Mr Sutclifle (eight years club champion), and Mr. William Ward, winner of the handicap singles. in making the presentation Mr Mogridgo referred to the .sportsmanlike qualities of the winners, who he said wore exceedingly popular amongst members. Three cheers wero then given for the recipients and Mr Harry SutclifFe.
