Tho .annual meeting, of the South Canterbury branch of the Automobile Association lapsed for want of .a quorum. The delegates present discussed somo matters of general interest. Ro gret was expressed at the lack of-aii; ter<v>t in, the Association, and as an explanation it was suggested that .the Central Association needs strengthening by larger contributions, as that it ea*i afford to provide legal assistance to defend members when prosecuted.
