Williams Company shows a net profit, after deducting all charges iand' doubtful debts, of £22,684. From this £13,537 will b© deducted to pay an interim dividend in August, leaving a balance of £9146. It is proposed to transfer £0000 to the re&erve, procido an additional £500 for doubtful o.ebts. and carry forward the balance, £2646. The reserve is now £10,000. The directors are optimistic as.to the future and look forward with confidence to the of dividends as soon as returns are fortcoming from the company's interests in amalgamated concerns.
