ARGENTINE FREEZING WORKS DESTROYED.
(United Pros** A.«-so('iatir» r: —Convright,* BUENOS AYRES, April 4. An explosion of ammonia used in freezing caused a fire in the Blanca meat freezing works, which were completely gutted. It is estimated that English underwriters will lose £100,000, and possibly double that amount. BUENOS AYRES, April !?. . Although the export of mutton from tho Blanca Company continues, the oxporfc of chilled beef is suspended. The loss of buildings ifi £80,000, and of the meat £40,000. The ofd meal- woiks •were destroyed, but the now were ia.t affected.
