NORTHERN LEAGUE.
• Mr. C. Smith presided at the annual general meeting of the City Northern League Football Club, which was held last night. There was a fair attendance. The balance sheet showed a very satisfactory credit balance. No report was submitted. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. W. A. Veitch, M.P. (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mer-srs J. Quarterman, J. T. Walsh, G. Mobrej A. Smith, A. McFarlane. F. D. Gaffa■lley; management committee, Messrs. J. Younger, A. Seeling. C. Harris, C. Smith, F. Lind, and C. Murray; re."retary ami treasurer, Mr. C. Smith (re-elected); delegates to the Wanganui League, Messrs. C. Smith and F. Lind. Twenty-five new members were on rolled.
