32 ROUNDS
VIENNA, January 2
A duel of an unusually desperate character was fought with swords at j Budapest to-day by Count Tisza, the former president of the Hungarian Chamber of Deputies, and Count Michael Narolyi, one of the Opposition leaders. The duel was .the result of a quarrel between the two politicians in a Budapest club yesterday. The quarrel was of such a serious nature that the seconds arranged that the duel should continue until the death or total disablement of one of the combatants. Both are active men, in fine physical condition, but Count JN'arolyi .had the i advantage of ibeing fifteen yeans younger than his opponent. Both are expert fencers. The duellists fought thirty-two rounds before "their seconds were able to stop th© combat. Count Tisza, despite his seniority, finally succeeded in wounding his adversary severely in the head and breast.. Count Tisz.a himself received only a slight scratch. Count Narolyi was removed to his home. He will recover.
