CHURCH NEWS.
The services in St. Andrew's Church in the forenoon will be conducted by Mr Blair, who has recently arrived from Home to' take charge of the WTanganui East Church, and at 7 p.m. Mr. Robt. Tucker will have charge, who will also be at Wes-tmere in the afternoon.
The services at the Wanganui East Baptist Church will be conducted morning and evening by Pastor Edridge. In the morning the subject will be— "How to know God better," and will bo followed by Communion. In the evening the Old Gospel will be preached. A hearty welcome extended to all. "The Resurrection of Christ: The Foundation of Human Hope" is tho subject for discourse at tlie Druids' Hall (lodge-room) on Sunday evening at 7.
Mr W. G-rundy will conduct botth morning and evening services at the Presbyterian Church, Gonville Avenue.
At the evening service in Wanganui East Presbyterian Church, Mr Blair will continue the account of mission work among an aboriginal tribe in India. All seate free. Hymn 'books provided. A hearty welcome to all.
The Ray. S. Bailey will conduct both services at Dublin St. on Sunday. We heartily welcome all visitors to Wanganui All seats free. Hymn books provided.
The Rev. Alex. Aitken of Scotland, who is at present touring New Zealand and leaves for Home next week, -is the speaker for to-morrow's Brotherhood meeting. He is, we believe, a very aible and interesting speaker and a good attendance is expected. The orchestra under t>he leadership of Mr Lowe is playing very well. The services at St. Paul's will be conducted "by Rev. J. D. McKenzie, 8.D., both morning and evening. The Young Men's Bible Class will meat *is usual, the subject beims —"Is the World Growing Better?"
