HUGH TREVANION'S DEATH.

At the Trevanion inquest,- Roe said that Trevanion'a family, including his mother, lapproached him in 1907 to use his influence to keep Trevanion from drugs. Trevanion was ill in 1911, and summoned witness, from _Paris. He suggested paying witness £200 yearly as a travelling companion. Trevanion Jater transfered to witness £10,000, as tho disliked people thinking Roe was in a different position to himself. Witr ness consented, on Trevanion's solicitors arranging the matter. He denied any impropriety. He was treated like a younger brother, and slept with Trevanion because tho latter was nervous. Witness detailed the circumstances prior to TrevUnion's death.
