"A Sister's Ordeal," the reigning star .film at fhe King's Pictures, continues to attract good business, thanks also to the fine supporting programme and the delightful music of the King's orchestra. "A Sister's Ordeal" is one of the most thrilling and sensational films ever seen at the King's, and is unique, as it marks an epoch in the era of the Cines Company in that it branches out into the out-west series. The plot of "A Sister's Ordeal" ds a story telling how Pe}ber (a cowboy) wins the heart of one of the daughters of a miner. daughters Tiave witnessed the act of waylaying Peter by Sam and his gang, and they quickly release Peter from an awkward position. One of them follows Sam and after an excitng race the girl secures the. money. . She makes good her es^ cape but is pursued by Sam, who captures Jier and binds %her htand .and foot. He, aided by other members of the gang, lowers the unfortunate girl into a lion's pit and leaves.her to her fate. Peter and the .other girl, however, effect a, ■ smart -and not untimely rescue, and Sam the arch-fiemd meetst with his deserts. Particularly fine are the scenes showing the lions' den and a realistic train wreck. The programme will be screened again to-night for the last time.
