STRUCK OFF THE LISTS
LONDON, January 20. A commission of historical research at Rome has struck out the aanws ot the Poprs of the ninth and tenth centuries who hitherto have been considered genuine.
The spuruious Popes were Boniface VI.. Boniface VH., John XVI. and Benedict X.
