THE HOME SEPARATOR.
"SURE TO COME."
AN EXPERT'S PROPHECY
The above headings do not indicate the inevitable arrival 'of some: insidious enemy bent on disturbing the sweet placidity of domestic life. They relate to the cow, and express, in few words, the opinions of men intimately associated with the dairying industry. In conversation with a representative of the "Chronicle" yesterday, a gentleman closely identified with the-butter 'business at Taranaki declared his conviction that home separating is sure to come, even tfn districts where factory separation is now firmly installed, "It will come," he said, ''not only because it 'will mean a great savingof time to the dairymen, to whom, as to other men.
time means money, but ibocauso it will effect an enormous saving in the upkeep of roads, reducing the now heavy wear and tear to a minimum. Moreover; homo separating will make for greater cleanliness, in that every man will then be responsible for the condition of his own cream."
