PRIZE DISTRIBUTIONS.
DISTRICT HIGH
•■The Assembly Hall at the D.H.S. was crowded yesterday afternoon with SJeSSnt pupils their parents when Mrs. J. D. McKenzie distributed the prizes to the successful pupils. After the prizes had ibeen given out Revs. J.D. McKeazie and D. Cakler, and Mr- Aitken, made speeches, appropriate to the occasion. The children of the seventh standard, who on the disestablishment or the school .will have to leave, presented Mr.. Aitken with an enlarged framed photo of the classes, as a memento of the occasion. Mr. Aitken feeling replied to th© presentation. At a later stage in the proceedings Mr.' Aitken. on behalf of the scholars in their various classes, presented Misses McNeil, Gordon and Stemp and Mr. Furrio with gifts as tokens of their year the respective classes. - PRIZE LIST. -■ Standard Vll.—Class Marks: Senior, Jessie Dane 1, Wl Caiman 2; Junior, DeliErth.
