WELLINGTON, Dec. 18, Mr Ortoii Stevens, manager of theNational Mutual Life/ has received the- - following cable from Melbourne-: The ■- 43rd annual meeting was held to-day and members are to be congratulated on the splendid results for the year, which is a record one for the Associa-- • tion. The new business amounts to £3,593,000, '.being £150,000 increase over - , last year. The total premiums amount to £954,000, an increase of £58.000, in-- -' terest received £309,000, the rate of j interest earned being.liigher than last , year, not withstanding the largo am— | ount of new business.
