(Per Press Association.) CHItISTCHURCH, November 8.

The Canterbury A. and P. Metropolitan Show was continued to-day. The weather was fine in the morning, but dull and showery in tho afternoon. Thero was a good attendance. The exhibit of sheep was well up to the standaid of previous exhibits, and thero was a noticeable increase in tho condition and quality of tho animals shown in the different classes. Competent judges were unanimous that taking the sheep all round thero had seldom been a better display onTihe Addington Show grounds. Tho total entries aro a trifle fewer, but this was more than compensated by the oxcellenco and evenness of the animals penned.
