GIRL PEACE SCOUTS.

A meeting in connection with the above movement was held at the Council Chambers yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Birss, the organising officer for Wanganui, read an account of the foundation of the movement, and also the rules and regulations of the corps. Mrs. Sampson was sworn in as President, and Mrs. F. Suisted and Mrs. Comyng vicepresidents, with power to form a council of ladies. Several Scouts were ako sworn in.
