Messrs'. Freeman R. Jackson held their usual fortnightly sale .at the "VVanganui saleyarda yesterday afternoon. Them was a very big yarding" of cattle, 1600 being penned, and competition among the large attendance of buyers war, keen. There was a very heavy yarding1 of pigs, very good prices being realised. Thero was also a cood yarding of sheep, and these also sold well. Pigs: Small pigs, 3s. to £1 os. Gd.; store pigfi 16s. to £I,'; porkers 235. to 335. (3d.; baconers £2 4s. 6d. Shop, fat. and forward ewes 15s. 3d., fat e.wes (shorn) 16^. Id., woolly ewes 265. 6d.'to 245., small shorn owes 16s. 2d. to 17s. 2d., priroo fat woolly ewes £1 Is. Cattle, fat bullocks £7 lßs. 6d. to £8 12s. 6d., fat cows £6 195., £7 125., £7 165., £7 I&J., fat heifers £7 12s. 6d., forward steers £5 11s., forward bullocks £7 os. 6d.; £7 Is. 6d., £7 65., yearling heifers £3 3s. 5d., yearling steers £3 7s. 6d.. heifers £4 55., £4 155., 2-year sters £4 195., forward 3-year bullocks £6 10s., good station bullocks £6 6s. 6d., aged empty cows £2 os., £2 18s. 6d., young cowa with calves £4 19s. 6c1., good store cows £4 10s., forward empty cows and heifer £5, steers £5 Bs. 6d.
