SALARIES TO BE RAISED

WELLINGTON, October 31

An indication was given by the Minister of Native Affairs in the House of Representatives this evening that tho salaries of judges of the Native Land Court are to be raised. A question on the subject was asked by. Mr. Wilford (Hutt), and the Hon. Mr/Herries replied it would be found that provision had been made on the supplementary estimates for increases.
