A £40,000 ORDER FOR "TRIUMPH" MOTOR CYCLES.
Since we first introduced the "Triumph" motor-cycle to the .N.Z. market, the wonderful reliability and sterling wearing qualities of this grand machine, have made for it a host of friends. In competitive events in this ■country the "Triumph" has made a wonderful record, and altogether it has well earned its position as the standard motor-cycle and the most popular motor-cycle of any imported to N.Z. Our sales of "Triumphs" during the last twelve months have been so enormous, and we have so frequently sold out our shipments before their arrival, that this year we have entered into contract with the Triumph Company for the purchase of 500 Triumph motor cycles. the maximum quantity available for shipment here. The total retail value for the machines included in that order is £40,000. We have arriving per lonic, a shipment of 80 motor cycles as a first instalment. The retail value of the motor cycles in that shipment is £7000, the shipment ever sent to one firm in Australasia. Big shipments are also to arrive by earlier steamers. We can show the acceptance of oxir order for 500 "Triumphs" to any one interested. The new model 1912-13 "Triumph" sells as follows:—Fixed engine £70.- free engine £80, three speed model £87 10s.
