•Messrs. Johnston and Co. advise that they received word that the s.s. Karamu left Newcastle yesterday morning for New Plymouth and Wanganui. The Karamu is due here about next Thurs-
tlay. . . " . Tho coastal steamer Moa left New Plymouth for Greymouth on Tuesday evening to load the first shipment of Paparaa coal for Wanganui. Messrs. Johnston and Co. advise that the s.s. AuP°uri left Onehunga for Wanganui yesterday, and is due here this evening. She sails for Onehunga on Saturday at 2 p.m. • .'■,.-" To-day will be observed, as a holiday on the wharves at Greymouth on account of the funeral of the late Hans Sykes, a wharf labourer, who' was killed on October 29th.
