The following authentic tale comes from Mr. J Strange.' "Glenside," and shows the immense power possessed by ?. bii.ll. Tiro shepherds were driving the bulls from various paddocks and bringing them down to the homestead. As eneh fresh bull wns added to the mob there were trials of strength and ,s.->v.i.tre skirmishes between the various members of tho herd. At one sate a larere roan Shorthorn bull was waiting for the rpst. and as soon as tho gate was opened he charged out. and, after the usual roaring and grunting and gruntinj?, name to look°. with a. vreli-trrown red f! ho reborn bull of equal size. Another -remarkable- event From a spectacular nnint nf v'Vmv n-aq ivT»nn c-,S- o r bulls attacked one. pitched him down tho side of :a hie hill, hurtled him through a gate, and over another fence.
